Center for Medical Simulation (CMS)

HKJC ILCM is proudly affiliated with the Center for Medical Simulation (CMS), which is part of the Harvard medical community based in Boston. A collaborative agreement has been signed between HKJC ILCM and CMS.

CMS is a leading provider of medical simulation education and training. We hope to promote simulation-based education and research for healthcare professionals to enable them to deliver safe and quality patient  care through our collaboration with CMS.

Under the agreement, CMS will help to develop simulation faculty in Hong Kong by running simulation instructor courses and extend CMS Visiting Scholar Program for those who successfully completed the course.

HKJC ILCM has recently been recognised as an affiliate of the CMS. Dr Robert Simon, Senior Director (Educational Leadership and International Programs) of the CMS, presented a plaque to the Academy signifying the affiliation, which aims to achieve a common goal of improving patient safety.
